Swedish trio Then Comes Silence have long been held in high regard for a sound that is a modern and unique take on classic goth and post-punk. They have released a new single entitled 'Remaker Redeemer', the second song to be lifted from 'Requiem Ballroom', their new studio album out on 20th November.
The album is presented as a diptych of two halves that combine to form the overall work, with part one (Requiem) representing darkness and part two (Ballroom) the light. 'Remaker Redeemer' introduces the latter, the band explaining that the song "is about new life, being reborn with old sins washed away. A kind of cleansing, a fresh start, and the feeling of beginning again. The choice of instruments and sounds on this track was also a way to explore something a bit different this time."
